1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ListingVideo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ListingVideo website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It applies to all visitors, account holders, and the real estate professionals who upload listing material through the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Where we act as a processor of information on behalf of a brokerage or agency, that organization’s own privacy notice may also apply. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
We may update this policy from time to time as described in Section 12. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the Service, and information from third parties. This includes account details such as your name and email address, the listing photos and property information you upload, and payment information processed by our payment provider.
We also automatically collect technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, and usage events, which help us operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not knowingly collect more information than is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, render videos from your uploaded content, process payments, communicate with you about your account, and respond to support requests sent to hello@trylistingvideo.com.
We also use aggregated, de-identified data to understand how the Service is used and to improve its performance and features. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your listing photos to train models for any party other than as needed to deliver your videos.
4. Photos & uploaded content
The photographs and property details you upload are used solely to generate the videos you request and to provide the Service to you. We process this content on secure infrastructure and retain it only as long as needed to deliver and support your videos, subject to the retention practices described in Section 7.
To create your videos, the photos and property details you upload are processed by trusted third-party artificial-intelligence providers acting on our behalf. These providers analyze your photos to plan the video and, where you enable narration, generate a voiceover from the script. They process your content only to perform these tasks for us and are contractually restricted from using it to train their own models or for any other purpose. The specific providers we use are listed in Section 6.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload listing photos and property information. We treat uploaded content as confidential to your account and do not share it publicly without your instruction.
If you are on a plan that offers public share links, creating a link makes the associated video, cover image, and any agent contact details you have provided accessible to anyone who has the link. You choose whether to create a share link and can revoke it at any time from your account.
5. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the Service is used. Some cookies are essential for the Service to function, while others are optional and used for analytics.
You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie preferences we provide. Disabling certain cookies may affect the availability of some features.
6. Sharing & disclosure
We share information only as needed to operate the Service. This may include the following recipients:
- Service providers who host infrastructure, process payments, or provide analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- The brokerage or organization associated with your account, where applicable;
- Authorities or third parties when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public;
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
The third-party service providers we currently rely on to operate the Service include:
- Cloud hosting and serverless compute (Vercel);
- Database hosting (Neon);
- Object storage and content delivery (Cloudflare R2);
- Payment processing (Stripe) — Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not store full payment-card numbers;
- Transactional email (Resend);
- Account sign-in (Google);
- AI video planning (OpenRouter, which routes requests to Google and Anthropic models);
- Text-to-speech narration, when enabled (ElevenLabs and Google Cloud).
We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content or close your account, we remove or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
Backups containing your information are retained on a rolling basis and are overwritten in the ordinary course of operations.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly from your account settings, or by contacting us at hello@trylistingvideo.com.
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and routine monitoring of our systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International transfers
We operate in the United States and may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection rules than your own.
12. Changes & contact
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after revisions take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
